The Last Sharknado movie had a lot of hype, so it was expected that the movie would be a huge success, right? Well, the movie didn't turn out to be as good as people expected, so it is safe to say that The Last Sharknado: It's About Time was not a great film. Instead, it was filled with a lot of continuity errors and uninteresting story elements, which are definitely not worth watching. We are going to take a look at some of the biggest problems The Last Sharknado: It's About Time has, as we head into the conclusion of the movie.
Firstly, we have the story where the Last Sharknado has to get back to his original shark-battling buddies in order to prevent the first Sharknado from happening. There are a lot of scenes that were incredibly well thought out, but they never seem to materialize in the real world. The whole movie was set up to show how well the Last Sharknado could handle his duties as a member of his team, but the execution just wasn't there. The movie made it seem like he was on his way to join his buddies, but his trip was a complete disaster. This was also a problem because he didn't make it back in time, so he couldn't stop the second Sharknado from happening. It is simply not enough to say that he was trying to prevent the next Sharknado, since the movie simply doesn't give you enough time for him to do anything.
Next up, we have the problem of the movie itself, which is called Fin. The problem here is that it is so bad that it ends up being hard to even give it a rating. If you are looking for a fast paced, action packed, hilarious movie then this isn't the film for you. The story line is not fun to watch, and it just does not live up to expectations. There is no real plot at all, and instead we are treated to a series of long scenes of fin going around the house. Trying to stop Fin from getting the best of everyone was never going to work, but the script writers just wanted to give us a ride through the whole thing anyway. and they did.
One of the worst parts about Fin is that it does not focus very much on the sharks themselves. The reason why the movie works so well is because they are so important to the overall plot of the movie, so it makes sense to make them the focal point of the entire movie. Fin. Instead, the entire story line is centered on the relationship between Fin and the other members of the crew, and their relationship to each other.
Finally, we have the ending, which is actually one of the worst parts of the movie. In the movie, after the second sharknado has happened, everyone tries to take Fin out of the city so that the third Sharknado can not happen. The problem is that the only person that Fin is going to be able to kill is himself, so he does not have anything to worry about. Then the sharknados start again without him, and everything goes to hell again.
So, those are two major problems that The Last Sharknado: It's About Time has. The overall story and execution are just not good enough to support its plot. For a movie about a sharknado, this was not an enjoyable watch at all, and I think this movie will end up being a flop for the studio behind it. If you are looking for a fast paced, ridiculous comedy, this may not be the film for you, so don't waste your money.
